Pyramid Welcomes Fall Interns!
Welcome Fall 2010 Interns! Michael, Sada, and Jessica are all very excited about getting involved with all facets of Pyramid Atlantic. DC-based graphic designer Michael (right), international student Sannah (mid) from Korea, and local college grad Jessica (left) make up this fall's team.
Pyramid's multifaceted programs and projects keep interns on the move. This fall, the biggest job is preparation for the Book Arts Fair in November. Additionally, varied activities like greeting visitors, assisting artists, designing collateral, completing classic admin duties, tweeting, and even making paper are all in a day's work. Interns also create their own artwork in preparation for an exhibition as a culmination of the experience.
The interns hold wooden letters used in fine printing. Soon they will learn to use them!
