Meet Our Fall Studio Interns!

There is a new energy in the air here at Pyramid Atlantic. In addition to the crisp mornings, and the leaves starting turning gold, our fall studio interns have arrived! Let's get to know them!

KATELYN KRONSHAGE


Learned her craft: at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo MI
Favorite materials: natural objects, thread, hair, polymer clay, paper
Ready to learn more about: paper making!!!
Studio snack of choice: cheddar bunnies, and candy of any kind
Favorite studio sounds: laughter in any studio. In the metals studio: the drill press, the sound of the torch firing up. In the print studio: squeegee contact to screen.

ALY AGA


Learned her craft: at the University of Colorado in Boulder
Favorite materials: textured paper, embroidery floss, Daniel Smith yellow ochre relief ink and Golden fluid acrylics
Ready to learn more about: letterpress and paper making
Studio snack of choice: hot coffee and Fage yogurt with honey
Favorite studio sounds: music with the volume turned waaay up. Something by Harry Nilsson or Laura Viers is always welcome!

Ready to learn more about: letterpress
Studio snack of choice: oh gosh, I'm a candy person too
Favorite studio sounds: the etching press being cranked
